What is Self-Care?

Self-Care is the ability to take care of one’s own body physically, mentally, emotionally, and sexually. It’s about healing the body from the inside out and so forth. So what are these tips and tricks you ask to help improve your overall health and wellbeing?

Journaling

Journaling is a great start for the mind. We all have thoughts that run through our heads throughout the day, good, bad or indifferent. Writing down our thoughts can help us see how we’re feeling that day, balance out our emotions, problem solve if we’re in a situation, and check in with ourselves to see what we need and or require to sustain our mental health.

Alternative Exercise

Have you ever considered something fun, soft, and soothing that stretches the body out in all the right places? If not, examples of this would be yoga, pole dancing, long hours of meditation, and aerial slings. These form of exercises can be soothing to the muscles, hard work, can increase flexibility, promote better brain power, and can help a woman tap into her femininity.

Long Herbal Baths

After a long day at work there’s nothing more soothing and delicious that a long bath filled with herbs, essential oils, and or fruits to relieve tension, pain, relax the muscles, and end a stressful night in bliss. Some herbs and oils that are good for the body are lavender, chamomile, rosehip oil, and lemon oil to melt a long day away.

Yoni Eggs

Now yoni eggs go all the way back to ancient times, were women would use them in the vaginal canal to help with tightness of the vaginal walls, better circulation, and blood flow. They can also help you feel more sexually confident in the bedroom as well.

Binaural Beats

Binaural Beats are an form of music that has positive affirmations within them or have certain tones and frequencies that can alter the brain in positive ways. They help with lowering stress levels, can improve sleep, boost your overall mood, improve creativity, and increase focus.

With all of these tricks and tips your self-care will be sure to thrive. Self-care is all about catering to the inner most parts of you that can get overlooked from busy schedules and other obligations we have on a regular basis. It forces you to take things slowly and enjoy the moments that are precious to us each and every day.
