The Sensual Experience

Feeling worthy or like you deserve good things after lots a trauma can be hard, especially with a mind that was once your friend starts to feel like an enemy.

What Is Worthiness?

Worthiness is feeling like you deserve something or respect. It’s about knowing you worth and knowing good things can happen for you and to you.

How Does Trauma Affect My Worth?

Trauma can affect how you view your worth because depending on what is it, it can make you feel worthless. You might struggle with addictions, promiscuity, mental health problems, or physical illness that can cause you to view yourself in a negative light. These issues and many more can impact you greatly mentally because it can hurt your self-respect, potentially put you in compromising situations, unknowingly surrounding yourself around negative people, compromising your morals, or ultimately putting yourself in harms way.

Trauma takes time to heal and sometimes those wounds run deep, they can make you feel low about life and question the reason why you’re here but you matter. The universe makes no mistakes and you are not one.

How Do I Regain Worthiness?

Regaining your worth after trauma and or adding to it by respecting your mind, body, or soul can be hard especially when you probably already feel so low. Your worth isn’t determined by others regardless of what you might have done or been in the past, it is determined by you. Everyone has the capacity to change and take control of their lives instead of life taking control of them.

One of the best ways to gain or regain worthiness is first knowing and realizing you are worthy from the start. Life is a learning process filled with countless lessons to help you grow, change, and transform. You are worthy because you are alive, because you want better for yourself, and because you know you deserve better than what you might have settled for in the past and or your current circumstances.

Never let anyone get the upper hand on you by trying to make you feel low or worthless, they don’t have the right regardless of where you’ve been in different chapters in your life. You are worthy simply because you are you and that is more than enough.

Happy Self-Worth!
