Self-Worth is an easy thing to lose but a hard thing to gain. Nobody really teaches you how to improve your self worth or how to gain any, it’s something you mainly learn all on your own. But today, I’m here to be that person of reason and as someone who’s struggled and still struggles with self-worth I’m here to tell you, you don’t have to do it alone. There are ways and resources you can use to help you along your journey.

Remove Anything or Anyone That Makes You Feel Less Than

You never really know how much you’re missing out on or how much someone is effecting you by simply being in your life. We give our all to people we care about and sometimes in the process we forget about ourselves, our wants, and our needs, and how important they actually are to us. So by having certain things or people in our lives that are toxic can affect us greatly. This can affect us by our mood, prevent us from working on our goals or ourselves, and can affect how we ultimately interact with others moving forward making us scared to get close to anyone. It’s important to remove what no longer serves you as that can increase your self-worth but also how you love yourself too.

Start Tapping Into Your Own Self-Love

Self-love and self-worth go hand in hand, they compliment each other perfectly. By tapping into your self-love, you get to learn all the things that you love about you, what you have overcome from your past, what you bring to your own table, and most importantly how to forgive and let go. It can teach you how to be more yourself and accept your flaws and imperfections for what they are. By doing all of this, it makes it easier to increase your self-worth and easier to love yourself more.

Embrace Changes In Life

Embracing change can help with your self-worth because it can help you get rid of the old and welcome in the new. New ways of thinking, new ways of acceptance, how to choose what’s best for you and your life, and what you allow into your life. It can be hard too, getting rid of what’s familiar to you especially when you don’t know where those changes are going to lead you, but welcome them. It’s powerful and a form of growth.

Embrace Your Past And Where Life Has Taken You

It’s important to acknowledge where you’ve come from, to also know where you’re going, or where you want to be. Your past is apart of you and it shapes the reality you live or could live. By embracing your past you’re able to take what you’ve learned and apply it to your current situations or overall wellbeing of yourself.

Sing Your Own Praises

No one truly knows you better than you and it’s important to sing your own praises, meaning, it’s important to be your biggest fan and supporter. You are worth happiness and you are worthy of value regardless of where you’ve been or where life has taken you. Be proud of who you are and all that that encompasses. By singing your own praise, you’re teaching yourself the way in which you want to be loved and how you want to be treated not only by you but by others too.

By taking these tips into consideration you can have a better understanding of how to improve your self-worth and to live a more full and fulfilling life. And remember, it’s ok to fall short and feel like you’re unsure of what you are doing or if applying these tips is helping. Give it time and be patient with yourself, you deserve it, and you’re worthy of it too.
