The Sensual Experience

Intimacy is a powerful thing. Intimacy with self or with a partner is definitely a game changer. It’s like lightning up different, passionate parts of yourself you didn’t really know you had, making you feel more alive than you already do.

There is nothing wrong with having love for intimacy, a gentle closeness or mutual understanding of yourself, your body, or your partners. It’s like igniting a flame, sending little tingles down your spine, and giving confirmation that you are loved. Intimacy is powerful, because it can bring you closer to yourself and on an intimate level, doesn’t always have to sexual or it can bring you closer to your partner, opening up pathways in your dynamic that you didn’t even know existed.

Intimacy with self could be as simple as knowing what you like on a rainy day, taking yourself on a date to your favorite restaurant and ordering that dish you always wanted to try. Or it can be more complex, like tapping into what triggers you if you have any triggers and knowing what your mind and body needs to stay in balance.

Or there’s intimacy with a partner and this can be just as fun if not more sometimes. Learning what adds to each other’s lives, being a listening ear to understand your person better, or simply knowing what arouses them are all great ways to grow and have a stronger connection with each other.

Overall, I would say my love for intimacy is pretty high because it’s so in depth. It’s a powerful feeling and tool that can really change an experience and make it better than what some people feel it should be. It’s also a wonderful chance to get to know you or your partner better and understand where you are in life, what you need to feel satisfied, and build stronger bonds. It’s a plus for me, and for anyone out there, I hope it’s a plus for you if you’re on your journey into finding intimacy or love for it.

Happy Intimacy!
