Dry brushing is a very old and ancient technique or ritual that’s been used for thousands of years to massage and exfoliate the skin. It’s a technique that involves using a bristle brush to stimulate circulation and help with draining of the lymphatic system. You can dry brush your face and your body.
I’ve tried dry brushing only a handful of times this far, slowly incorporating it into my weekly routine, and I love it. I have two brushes that are different sizes for dry brushing. One for the body and one for the face and I always feel amazing after using them. Aside from dry brushing helping with circulation and draining the lymphatic system it also made me feel cleaner as a pre-shower regime to get rid of any extra dirt or dead skin off of my body.
I highly recommend using dry brushing because of its benefits. I also am not a help professional so of course consult someone before hand, but if you are able to use it, it definitely has its benefits by being added to your weekly skin routine. Not to mention, similar to wood therapy, after dry brushing I always feel relaxed and a little bit at ease, like it helped release tension I didn’t realize I had.
Dry brushing is definitely a game changer and some even believe it can even help improve cellulite. I have not tried it with that purpose intended yet, but I do notice it definitely helps with blood circulation across the body. Overall, my experience with dry brushing has been amazing, and I hope try it.
Happy Dry Brushing!
