I love the idea of saying a few words to myself to get the morning started and to help me unwind from the day.
Positive affirmations are so pivotal in someone’s life because you can literally change the whole reality you live in simply with your thoughts. You can go from having a very low self-esteem to a very high one or you can help elevate your mood throughout the day when you’re feeling low. They are very helpful to the mind and the body with healing as well.
What’s your positive affirmation?
Positive affirmations are words said out loud, written, and or thought to yourself that effects your mind in positive way. They are words of encouragement and assurance that can create a positive outcome.
How long should I do positive affirmations?
The average time to actually start noticing or really feeling the effects of you saying affirmations doesn’t really take effect until after the first 30 days, which has been stated in many articles is around the time it takes to form a new habit (whether that positive or negative).
How should I state or create my affirmations?
Creating a positive affirmation is entirely up to you and what you feel. But for me, I personally like start with the words “I am” and “I have”, because reassuring yourself that you are ready are or you already have these things seem to more effective then saying words like “I will” or “I should.” Nobody can truly take anything from you whether that be spiritually, emotionally, sexually, or physically. Yes, experiences can change your perception but what’s meant for you will truly always be for you. Your belief and how you see the world is entirely up to you regardless of circumstance and the same way you fall you have the capacity to get back up and try again.
How will I feel after my positive affirmations start taking effect?
You’ll start noticing little things at first and it can be different for everybody. But for me, I started noticing I felt more energetic, I started smiling more, I started having the urge to get back to the things I loved like certain hobbies or wearing makeup and getting dressed up. I started liking how I looked in the mirror and started feeling more sure of myself and confident when I walked out the door.
Overall, affirmations to me changed my life because after looking at the world from a negative point of view for a very long time, I started seeing the wonder in it, how beautiful my little world could be when I put effort into it and that at any given moment my circumstances could change if I worked for it and believed hard enough that change was possible for me. Not to mention they made me feel better about myself and shaped me and still is shaping me into the person I always wanted to be.
Enjoy Your Positive Affirmations!
